Police appeal for witnesses after collision on M6

It was near the Southwaite Services.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a two vehicle collision on the M6 southbound at Southwaite services.

The collision was reported at 20:11 on Sunday April 23 and involved a white Peugeot Bipper van and a Honda motorcycle.

The rider of the Honda motorcycle was seriously injured and taken to hospital where he is receiving care for those injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch. Anyone with information can report via email to sciu@cumbria.police.uk referring to 185 of 23/04/2023.
