Man charged after drugs found in car on M6

A man has been charged by Cumbria Police, after drugs were found in a car stopped on the M6.

Officers found it near Carlisle yesterday afternoon (4th September).

The amphetamine in the vehicle is thought to be worth £180,000.

Craig Molyneux, aged 31, of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, has been charged with possession with intent to supply amphetamine and possession of criminal property.

He was remanded in police custody ahead of a court appearance at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today (5th September).
