Kirkstone Pass set to be open again for Easter Sunday
Work has been carried out in the past few weeks.
The Kirkstone Pass that has been closed for most of March is reopening in time for Easter.
Known as one of the highest roads in the area, a need to improve safety and make it less prone to closures in the winter led to the closure.
During the last 18 months on and off the work has been carried out and is due to be fully completed in time for Easter Sunday.
It is set to shut again next month due to the project overrunning.
