Human remains found confirmed to be missing man Paul Taylor

Human remains, which were found in Finglandrigg Wood, off the B5307 outside Carlisle, have been confirmed to be those of Paul Taylor.

Cumbria Constabulary said in a brief statement: "A police presence will be in the area for some time while officers continue with their work at the scene.

"People are asked to avoid the area to allow this work to continue.

"Paul’s family have been informed."

A man has previously been charged with Paul's murder.
