Four sheep killed in fields near Kirkoswald cricket pitch
Police appeal for information following incident on New Year's Day
Police are investigating an incident where four sheep were killed and one was seriously injured in fields near the cricket pitch at Kirkoswald.
The event occurred overnight between 31st December and the morning of 1st January 2026.
Investigations into the cause of the deaths are ongoing. So far, police have not identified any dogs or their owners in connection with the incident.
