Five arrested after drug warrants in Whitehaven

Four drug warrants have been conducted in Whitehaven yesterday (15 January), led by Cumberland Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC).

The warrants were supported by Cumberland CID, Area Intelligence unit, Tactical Support Group, Civil Nuclear Constabulary Dog Section and Whitehaven Neighbourhood Policing Team.

A warrant was executed on Rutland Avenue where a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of concerning the supply of Class A.

A Sur-Ron bike was also seized at the property.

A warrant was executed on Lincon Road where a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of concerning the supply of Class A.

A warrant was executed on Burnmore Avenue where a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of concerning the supply of Class A.

A warrant was executed on Cumberland Road where a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of concerning the supply of Class A

All have been released under investigation.
