West Cumbria man jailed for assaulting woman
He appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on Friday
A man who subjected a woman to assaulted has been jailed.
Douglas Graham, 34, of no fixed address, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on Friday.
He was sentenced for section 20 wounding, assault by beating, and criminal damage.
PC Ben Wright from Cumbria Police says, “Graham acted without remorse subjecting the victim twice to sustained and brutal violence.
“Cumbria Constabulary does not tolerate violence and our officers will do all they can to ensure that violent offenders are brought to justice for their crimes."
Graham has been sentenced to two years three months in prison for all three offences.
