Body recovered by Cumbria Police following searches of River Eden
The man was discovered by officers searching at Wetheral Viaduct
A body has been found by Cumbria Police in their search for a missing man.
Searches which have been on-going at Wetheral Viaduct since Sunday evening (22nd Oct) and have resulted in the body of a man being located this afternoon (25th Oct).
Police and partners have been conducting searches in the area after a man fell from the bridge into the water.
The body of a man was located at around 12.30pm today (25th Oct).
His family have been made aware of today’s developments and officers say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
