Arrests after car crimes in Carlisle

Police have arrested two men, after investigations into suspected car crimes in Carlisle yesterday (January 25).

The suspects were arrested by officers, after reports of vehicles being interfered with in Upperby, Currock, Blackwell and the Warwick Road area.

The reports said this happened between 2am and 4am.

The two arrested men, one aged 18 and the other 20, were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences of interference with a vehicle.

Officers are trying to identify if there were any more incidents and are asking people who live in the areas mentioned to check any CCTV cameras, or doorbell footage.
