Woman denies murdering 5-year-old Coventry boy in her care

A woman has denied murdering a 5-year-old boy whilst in her case in Coventry.
David-Mario Lazar was fatally stabbed at his home on Poplar Road in the Earlsdon area in January last year.
Elena Anghel, who's 50, was charged a couple of months - and has now admitted at Warwick Crown Court to killing David-Mario.
She's currently being held in a mental health facility.
In a statement issued two days after the fatal incident, David-Mario's parents, Cristina and Dorinel, said:
"Our son, he was the most beautiful child in the world.
"He was a very happy boy. He is all of our hearts, all our love and is everything to both of us."
The trial is expected to take place on 19 June, 2023.
