Warwick Castle is selling it's giant catapult.

The 18-meter-high replica trebuchet, which is something that would have been used in the 13th or 14th century, has a price tag of £100 000.

The 22-tonne structure would have been used to launch large projectiles in an attempt to breach castle walls.

It had a launch distance of 200m and has been fired over 10,900 times

The replica trebuchet is currently the world’s largest example of this particular type of war machinery and is nicknamed ‘Ursa’, which is Latin for bear, after Warwickshire’s famous bear and ragged staff emblem.
