Two people arrested in Coventry during Project Servator deployment
West Midlands Police are taking on stop and search operations this week.
Two people were arrested this week during a Project Servator deployment in Coventry.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of class A drugs and has been bailed.
A 17-year-old girl was also arrested for breach of a court order during Monday’s deployment.
Officers also carried out 11 stop searches during the operation, which took place in the city centre.
Project Servator is a policing tactic that aims to disrupt criminal activity, and officers and specially-trained to spot the signs that someone may be carrying out hostile reconnaissance or about to commit a crime.
