Tributes have been paid to a Coventry mother who died after being stabbed in Coventry.

Pauline Sweeney was found with stab wounds at an address in Long Close Avenue last Wednesday (20 March).

The 50-year-old died a short time later.

In a tribute, distributed by West Midlands Police, Pauline has been described as the 'life and soul of every room she walked into.'

In a statement, they say:

"She was a strong woman who wouldn’t let anything bring her down. We’ll remember her with a tear in our eye and love in our hearts. Rest in peace. Love from your seven children."

Her partner William Brady, aged 57, has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody. He is due to appear before Crown Court again on 9 May.
