Three men arrested after Nuneaton drugs raid

Arrests have been made following the execution of a drugs warrant in Nuneaton in the early hours of this morning (17 May).

Officers seized Class A drugs and drugs paraphernalia, a large sum of cash, 10 mobile phones, weapons and an imitation firearm as part of the search of a property in Joddrell Court. An untaxed Vauxhall Astra car was also seized.  

Three men were arrested for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply; a 20-year-old from Coventry, a 39 –year-old from Nuneaton and a 19-year-old from Hinckley. They remain in custody while investigations continue.

Detective Inspector Alan Townsend from Nuneaton Proactive CID said "We are pleased that our officers have been able to disrupt this ruthless form of criminal activity. 

Drug dealers prey on the most vulnerable and have no concern for the misery and devastation that they cause to individuals, families and communities. They are motivated only by greed.

Warwickshire Police will continue to do all we can to target those involved in the supply of drugs and bring offenders to justice. To do this we rely on support from our communities in reporting suspicious behaviour. "
