Thousands take part in national clap for Azaylia Cain
The 8-month-old from Nuneaton is battling a rare form of cancer.
Thousands of people from across the country have taken part in a round of applause for an eight month girl from Nuneaton, who's battling a rare form of cancer.
Azaylia Cain was brought home from hospital by her family last week - after doctors said she only has days to live, and there's no further treatment available.
A facebook group arranged the minutes round of applause for her yesterday evening.
Some buildings lit up orange to rare awareness of acute myeloied leukaemia, which Azaylia was diagnosed with when she was just eight weeks old.
This happened as far away as Scotland.
Azaylia's dad, the former Coventry City player and reality TV star Ashley Cain, thanked everyone on his instagram who took part in the clap.
Since then though, he has said they've had to take her back into hospital, in the early hours of this morning.
In a post on social media, Azaylia's mum Safiyya said they were waiting on blood test results to see if she had an infection.
Last month, Ashley posted an appeal for donations so they could take her to Singapore for CAR-T therapy.
Among the 74,000-plus people to donate were reality TV stars Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins, as well as footballers Barry Bannan, Harrison Reed and Robert Snodgrass.
But, last week, Ashley posted a video, explaining that since last month, a CT scan found two tumours on Azaylia's brain.
Her disease is so rare that the consultants in Singapore informed the family they can't use CAR-T therapy to treat her.
A few days ago, Ashley was sent a message from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Other celebrities have also sent messages of support, and took part in the round of applause last night.
