A third teenager has died after a crash in Warwickshire on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the B4035 Campden Road, in Shipston-on-Stour at about 4.10pm on Friday, after reports of a collision with a Ford Fiesta and a Fiat 500.

Two people - a 17 year old boy and a 16 year old girl - were airlifted to hospital but later passed away in hospital. They have now been named by their school as Harry Purcell and Tilly Seccombe.

Two other teens, named as Frank Wormald and Edward Spencer, were taken to hospital in serious conditions, but in a letter on Sunday, Chipping Campden School confirmed that Frank had also passed away. They say that Edward remains in a serious but stable condition.

In a letter widely shared on social media, the Principal of Chipping Campden School, John Sanderson, said: "There are no words to express the sense of loss that we feel, both as a community and for Harry's, Tilly's and Frank's families and close friends..

"Each one of these young people has been a part of our extended school family and each loss is felt profoundly".

Police are now appealing for anyone who saw anything to contact them.

Inspector Michael Huntley from Warwickshire Police's serious collision investigation unit said: "This is a tragic incident involving several young people, and our thoughts go out to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, to those who have been injured, and to the local community who may have been affected by this incident.

"Specially trained family liaison officers are currently supporting the families involved, and we would ask that the privacy of those involved is respected at this difficult time.

"Specialist officers are carrying out a detailed investigation to piece together the circumstances of the collision, and we are working with our partner agencies and the local authority.

"We would ask anyone who has not yet spoken to us to please get in touch, especially if you were travelling in the area and may have any information or dashcam footage."
