SNOW DAY: weather causes chaos to West Midlands roads and schools

Many people across the West Midlands have woken up to a blanket of snow on their doorstep this morning, with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather alert for snow and ice.

It's causing issues to travel, with forecasters urging drivers to take extra care while on the roads.
