Shops in Coventry and Walsall targeted by shoplifting gang

Police have launched an appeal to trace suspects and released CCTV images.

Officers believe the same group, made up of a number of men and young children, are responsible for targeting at least four convenience stores in the last few months.

Its understood they work together to distract shop workers as they steals things such a cigarettes, alcohol and mobile phones.

They’ve been captured on CCTV at various different shops and some of the images have been released today as part of an ongoing investigation to identify them.
