Shop worker assaulted in Nuneaton
Police have released images of a man and woman they want to speak to following a theft and assault in Nuneaton.
Officers say while staff at a shop in Weddington Road attempted to detain a woman believed to be shoplifting one of them was punched and spat at.
The woman involved is described as being white, of large build, in her mid30s and around 5 ft 6in tall. She had a pony tail.
The man is described as being white, in his early 40s, short and of skinny build. He was wearing a black tracksuit and trainers.
The incident happened on 10 March.
