Officers from West Midlands Police have joined forces with the Sky Blues to speak to local children about hate crime.

The Coventry Partnerships team worked with Coventry City to deliver 'No Room For Racism' workshops at Clifford Bridge, St. Osburg's and Hill Farm School this week.

The workshops educated youngsters on racism and also featured a Q&A session with two Coventry first-team players.

The pupils were also tasked with designing an anti-racism poster, with the winners to be given tickets to Coventry City vs West Brom on 30 October.

PCSO Share Taylor, from the Partnerships team, said: "Our focus is to educate young people on the seriousness of racism and make it clear it is not tolerated.

"We will continue to work with the Sky Blues on and off the pitch to work against hate crime."
