Warwickshire Police seize drugs and large knife after stopping car on A46

The officers were on patrol in the area when a vehicle came to their attention

Warwickshire Police have seized crack cocaine, heroin and a large knife after stopping a car near Whitley, Coventry.

Officers discovered the stash after making the stop on the A46 yesterday (Thursday 9 September) morning.

The officers were on patrol in the area when the suspect vehicle came to their attention.

Nathan Roberts, 38, of Lodge Road, Stratford was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of a knife, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.

Roberts will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today.
