Police investigating gun shots in Coventry

Officers responded to reports of a shotgun being discharged in Mansel Street, Foleshill, at around 7.10pm.

Police are investigating after a man was injured when gun shots were fired in a Coventry street last night (22 March).

There was damage to the window of a property and casings from within the area have been recovered.

No-one was found with injuries at the scene but a 19-year-old man later presented at hospital with pellets in his foot. His injuries are not serious.
