Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses after a cyclist died following a collision on the A46.

55-year-old Israr Hussain from Coventry was discovered on the carriageway between Stoneleigh and Kenilworth last Tuesday (11 November).

He suffered serious injuries at around 9.20pm, and sadly died.

Inspector Michael Huntley from the Warwickshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “To date, we have not been able to identify the vehicle which we believe struck Mr Hussain.

"As part of our investigation, we have however identified nearly 500 vehicles passing through the area in the timeframe leading up to him being discovered, and we have now written to the registered keepers of those vehicles.
