A man has been charged after two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon in Warwickshire.

Dale Gardiner, 40 from near High Street in Studley, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent; attempt murder; and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He will appear in Coventry Magistrates Court today (22 July) for his first hearing.

This follows an incident on Saturday 19 July during which two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon on Rowland Avenue in Studley, reportedly leading to serious injuries which required hospital treatment.

Speaking after the incident, Detective Inspector Buckley from Warwickshire Police said: “First aid was reportedly provided to the boys who had received injuries by members of the public in advance of the ambulance’s arrival, for which we give our sincere thanks.”
