M40 in Warwickshire reopens after multi-vehicle crash

The M40 has reopened following a multi-vehicle crash, which Warwickshire Police described as "serious".

Emergency services were called to the scene yesterday (Saturday 24 September). The road was closed in both directions between J16 (Hockley Heath) and J15 (Warwick).

The northbound side reopened shortly before 4.00am this morning and the southbound side followed suit shortly before 7.00am.

There are currently no reports of how many vehicles were involved, or if anyone was injured.
