Investigations underway into significant fire in Coventry
It started at around 6:55pm last night.
West Midlands Fire Service were called to a significant fire involving gardens and properties in Guphill Avenue, Coventry, at 6.55pm on Friday 20 June.
The first of crews arrived five minutes after being mobilised.
At the height of the incident, ten fire engines and around 50 firefighters were in attendance.
The fire started in the garden of a terraced house and affected three properties in total.
One man, believed to be his 60s, was treated by fire crews before being cared for by the ambulance service and, we understand, discharged at the scene.
No-one else was hurt.
As of 8.45pm, crews were starting to reduce their presence, with remaining crews damping down the scene.
West Midlands Fire Service say they'll be investigating how the fire started.
