Warwickshire Police are continuing to investigate an alleged serious assault at a car boot sale.

Officers say they believe a man and woman were present during the alleged assault in Lea Marston on Sunday (12 May) - and they're now looking to identify the woman.

The man is described as a white male aged between 20 and 30 years old and approximately 5ft 9in tall.

The man is of a muscular build with a big, red-coloured beard and a sleeve-style tattoo on his left arm.

He was wearing a black Nike hat with white logo, a white t-short, black jeans, and white shoes, and would have been carrying a large black car roof box.

Witnesses say he spoke with an eastern European accent, possibly Polish.

The man was reportedly present with a blonde female around 20-25 years old of a slim build and around or under 5ft 2in in height.

DI Sartoris said “We are very keen to speak to these two people so we can get a clear and full understanding of the events which led to a man being hospitalised with a brain injury.

“If anyone can help us locate or identify them, let us know as soon as possible.”
