A man who died in a collision in Coventry has been named by West Midlands Police today (Tuesday 20th May).
26 year old Reece Bird passed away following a collision on Quorn Way on Friday (16th May).
A statement's been released on behalf of his family:
"With a heavy heart we lost our Reece on Friday. Reece was one of a kind. We’ve lost our brother, our best friend, our main man.
"Anyone who knew him knew how much he lit up the room by just walking in, a smile that could fix anything.
"He never thought anything was impossible and always went above and beyond for his family.
"If only love could bring a person back. Our family would like to say thank you for all the love and support we have received, Reece would be so proud.
"Rest in paradise my big brother, I love you always and forever: your little sister Georgia."
The collision happened just after 8.00pm on Friday evening, and West Midlands Police have confirmed they're not currently looking for any other drivers or vehicles in connection with what happened.
Officers say a mobile phone, which went missing following the crash, has also been found.

There is an ongoing witness appeal for information into the collision - we're asked to contact West Midlands Police by emailing [email protected] or call 101, quoting reference number 5344 of 16th May.
