Coventry striker Brandon Thomas-Asante given three-match ban
The 27-year-old admitted violent conduct during Monday's fixture against Norwich City
Coventry City striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has been handed a three-match ban for violent conduct during Monday's (January 26) championship game against Norwich City.
The Football Association said that the player's behaviour in the 34th minute of the game was not seen by match officials at the time but was captured on video and later reviewed.
The FA alleged that the behaviour involved violent conduct.
The 27-year-old admitted to the charge and accepted the standard penalty.
As a result, Thomas-Asante will miss Coventry's next three fixtures.
