Coventry man charged after iPads and laptops stolen from city school

£15,000-worth of equipment was taken.

A man from Coventry has been charged with stealing more than £15,000 worth of computer equipment from a school in the city.

Darren Reid, 50, was arrested on 21 January and charged with burglary after a number of iPads and Chromebooks were stolen from Frederick Bird school in September.

He has been bailed pending a future court date and enquiries are ongoing to track the stolen technology and return it.
