Coventry man charged over possession of offensive weapon in city

A man from Coventry has been charged with offensive weapon charges in the city.

West Midlands Police were called to Profitt Avenue on 27 September after reports of a disorder, with officers attending and arresting a man.

Mohammed Fawad, 37, has now been charged with wounding, possession of an offensive weapon and threatening behaviour.

He is due to appear before magistrates in Coventry today (30 September).
