'Don't go onto the pitch': Message to fans ahead of Coventry City match
They take on Middlesborough in tomorrow's lunchtime kick-off
Ahead of tomorrow's match against Middlesborough at the Coventry Building Society Arena, the message to fans is not to run onto the pitch when it's over.
It's a 12.30pm kick-off in the final league game of the 2024/5 campaign.
The Sky Blues still harbour hopes of extending the season as they vie for a place in the end of season Play-Offs.
Bosses say it's going to be a sell-out crowd at the Arena to cheer them on.
To help support the matchday operation, you're also urged to get to the stadium early.
Players and staff will take part in a lap of appreciation following the game to thank fans for their fantastic support over the last campaign just after the full-time whistle.
If any fans are on the pitch, they say this will not be able to happen.
Supporters are also reminded not to enter the field of play at any point during Saturday’s game.
Entering the pitch is a criminal offence, and fans who do so under any circumstances face police action as well as a ban from future Coventry City matches.
The Club also faces a significant fine if supporters enter the field of play.
We thank fans for their co-operation and their continued support.
