Coventry City remind supporters not to stand at CBS Arena
Authorities have asked the club to remind fans that persistent standing is not allowed
Coventry City have sent out a reminder to fans stating that their arena is an all-seater stadium, following reports of people persistently standing.
Bosses at the club and the CBS Arena have been asked by authorities to remind supporters that continuously standing is not allowed.
A statement on the Coventry City website states: "Following communication from authorities regarding this, Coventry City and the Arena have been asked to remind Sky Blues supporters that persistent standing is not allowed at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
"Persistently standing for the whole match or for long periods is against ground regulations and may affect the enjoyment of the game for other supporters, whose view may be affected, as well as your safety and the safety of others.
"Alongside today’s reminder, there will be further reminders on matchdays on the scoreboard, tannoy and in the matchday programme.
"We thank supporters for their co-operation and understanding."
