Boy, 12, injured after bus crash on main Bedworth road

A 12 year old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Bedworth last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian on Coventry Road at around 5:30pm yesterday evening (December 29).
West Midlands Ambulance service said the boy was treated for serious injuries by paramedics at the scene before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
Warwickshire Police closed Coventry Road in both directions near the junction with Park Road while the incident was dealt with but it reopened around 10:30pm last night.
