The company has cited factors such as the continued impact of US tariffs and weak demand in China as contributing to its decision.
The proposals could see reductions in employee numbers, including contractor, fixed-term, and permanent roles, though Aston Martin stated this remains subject to consultation with employee representatives.

In a statement, the company said: "Aston Martin confirms that as part of the Company’s ongoing drive to optimise its cost base, it is taking further steps to strengthen its overall position, including a review of its organisational structure.
"In response to continued challenges in the global macro-economic environment, including the sustained impact of US tariffs and weak demand in China, Aston Martin has launched a global consultation process with employees and representatives on proposals to reduce employee numbers across all sites which may affect contractor, fixed term and permanent roles, subject to appropriate consultation with employee representatives."
