A45 closure in Coventry
There'll be diversions till Monday morning
Part of the A45 is closed from now till Monday, while works are undertaken in Coventry.
It will be closed towards Birmingham, from Pickford Way Roundabout to the turning into Meriden and towards Coventry - between Stonebridge Roundabout and Pickford Way Roundabout from 3am today (Thursday) till 6am on Monday 7 August .
This is so the main bridge beams of the new road over the A45 can be lifted into place.
A diversion route will be in place and clearly signed.
Coventry City Council is encouraging people to allow more time for their journey and to plan ahead.
It's also thanking people for their patience while the work is underway.
