West Midlands Police have broken up a 'substantial growing operation' at a disused church in the Lower Stoke area of Coventry.
Officers executed a drugs warrant at the former Stoke United Reform Church on Harefield Road, Coventry, at around 7.50am on Thursday, 20 April.
A man who tried to leave the property via the roof was arrested after being tracked by our drones team.
The Force say they recovered 1,411 plants, which will be destroyed.
They also say thousands of pounds worth of growing equipment will be dismantled to ensure it can't be used again.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged.
