Zombies to roam through Newquay for the return of their Halloween Crawl
Newquay's Zombie Crawl is back for the first time in three years
The Zombie Crawl is taking to Newquay for the first time in three years.
The Halloween-themed day has been arranged after not going ahead in previous years due to COVID and will return this Saturday 29th October.
Mark Warren, Manager of Newquay BID, said: "We're calling it spooky Newquay because it's not just about the Zombie Crawl this year.
"We've got pumpkin carving for the kids. At 3'o'clock we're going to be starting the Zombie Crawl. We're going to be taking a whole load of zombies through the middle of Newquay with dancing and with spooky stuff going on all the way down to the Griffin Inn.
"It's to bring everyone in the community together, for businesses and just for Newquay, to bring everyone together in the town".
The day will include dance workshops to 'Thriller' from 12pm-3pm as well as face painting and pumpkin carving, a Zombie Crawl procession from Fore Street and through the town before a silent disco at the end of the day from 4pm at The Griffin Inn.
Kerry Lee-Campbell, manager of WAX Activity Bar Newquay said: "We've got spooky candles, skeletons, we've got skeletons on the outside that are robbing the bank, because we used to be a bank here.
"We've got a Halloween cocktails, spooky shooters and little monster mocktails. Every day this week I've been wearing something different and every member of the team will be going all out to welcome the zombies outside.
"We can't wait. We're really excited to get involved in the community".
