A young woman has been airlifted to hospital after a multi-agency rescue on the Cornish coast.
Crews were called to reports of a group of people in difficulty in the sea at Porthchapel near Porthcurno on Saturday morning.
The RNLI says three were rescued from the water - one of whom was in danger of drowning.
A fourth casualty was flown to Treliske with head injuries after a fall on the cliff path.
The Land's End and Penzance Coastguard Rescue Teams and both lifeboats from Sennen got the call, along with the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter from Newquay.
The group rescued from the water were checked over by paramedics but, luckily, did not need to be taken to hospital.
Sennen Lifeboat Second Coxswain, Dan Shannon, said that the crews had acted quickly and efficiently: " We are very pleased with the good outcome. At least one life saved, if not three."
"At 10am today (March 20) two 999 calls were received by Falmouth Coastguard reporting a number of people in difficulty in the water at Porthchapel in Cornwall.
"Coastguard Rescue Teams from Lands End and Penzance, two RNLI lifeboats from Sennen Cove and the search and rescue helicopter from Newquay were sent to the incident.
"The RNLI recovered 3 people from the water and they were passed into the care of the South Western Ambulance Service.
"A 4th person was located by the Coastguard Rescue Teams on the shore.
"The Newquay search and rescue helicopter recovered this casualty and transferred them to Treliske Hospital".
