More snow could be on the way in Cornwall overnight and into the morning.

A new yellow weather warning has been issued this evening (Tuesday 17 January).

The warning for ice and snow is in place between 6pm and midday on Wednesday 18 January.

The Met Office warn snow showers and icy stretches may cause some disruption - and people in Cornwall can expect some roads and railways to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.

It's after people across Cornwall have been sharing their photos and videos of snow this morning - after a Yellow Weather Warning was issued overnight on Monday 16 January.

Dave from the Kernow Weather team said: "Some parts of Cornwall could see another five to ten centimetres on top of the amount we've already got.

"Only drive if you really have to and if you do have to drive, give it that extra 15 minutes. Make sure your windscreens are clear of snow, all your lights are clear. Really take care on those roads".

Dave added: "Once we get through Wednesday there's going to be snow flurries on and off most of the day and it's going to be quite cold.

"Thursday the temperatures do raise a little bit but there will be the odd wintery shower so we may see rain and sleet".
