Woman in hospital after stabbing near Bude
A man's been arrested in connection with the incident in Maramchurch
A woman's in hospital after suffering suspected knife wounds in an incident in a village near Bude.
Police were called to an address in the Maramchurch area shortly after 1am on Tuesday 18th of July.
A woman in her 40s remains in hospital with multiple serious injuries to her chest and neck - she is currently in a stable condition.
A 39-year-old man from Weymouth has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault causing grievous bodily harm - he's since been released on police bail until 19 October 2023.
