Woman hospitalised as two stags caught fighting in Cornwall

A woman was taken to hospital after police were called to reports of two stags with their antlers entangled in Cornwall.

Officers were sent to Couch’s Mill, near Lostwithiel at around 8am on Tuesday 22 October.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: "Officers attended due to concerns around public safety.

"One deer broke free and left the area.

"The other was left to recover with no further safety concerns."
