Woman dies following incident in Camborne
A man in his 40's remains in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A woman has died following what police are describing as a 'serious incident' in Camborne.
Officers were called at 9.45am this morning by an ambulance crew who attended a property in Camborne following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.
A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained. Her next-of-kin have been made aware.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and a scene guard is in place as officers carry out enquiries locally.
A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is assisting police with their investigation.
