A whirly tube orchestra will perform 'Song of the Sea' on the beach in Hayle, during the G7 Summit in Cornwall.

'Song of the Sea', or Kan an Mor in Cornish, is being described as a mass musical meditation on the welfare of the sea.

Presented by opera company Tête à Tête, it is asking those in power to consider how to cherish our environment.

The socially-distanced orchestra will start with just one instrument, before become a huge tutti of 1,000.

Just in case you were wondering what a whirly tube looks and sounds like...

Tête à Tête are encouraging locals to join them at 1.08pm on Saturday 12th June, to send a visible message to world leaders across the bay at Carbis Bay.

You have until 2.30pm on Wednesday 9th June to sign up and you can do that and read more about the event here.
