UPDATE: Police say Nicholas has now been located and arrested

An urgent police appeal has gone out to find a wanted man who has links to Falmouth and Newquay.

Officers say Nicholas Carter is wanted in connection to an investigation into alleged burglary and act of criminal damage.

Police have been trying to find the 39-year-old from Falmouth and are appealing for help from the public to report any sightings.

Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him but to call 999 straight away.

"Nicholas Carter is wanted in connection to an investigation into an alleged burglary and act of criminal damage.

"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts and to report any sightings.

"Carter, pictured, is described as being of medium build, 5ft 7in tall, with short, straight, brown hair.

"He has links to the Newquay and Falmouth areas."

Anyone who sees Carter is asked to not approach him and call police on 999 immediately quoting log number 664 of 10 April 2021.
