A Wadebridge home has been issued with a three-month partial closure order following complaints from the community about antisocial behaviour linked to visitors at the property.

The order, granted on 2nd February 2026, restricts entry to anyone who is not one of the named residents living at the address.

Neighbours had expressed concerns to the police regarding people gathering at the property, including under-18s, who were reportedly exploiting a vulnerable tenant. Persistent issues included suspected drug use, drug dealing, and significant noise disturbances.

Inspector Adam Stonehill, from the local neighbourhood team, said:

“It was clear to see the impact that this behaviour was having on the wellbeing and livelihoods of local people.

"Nobody should be made to feel worried, intimidated or unsafe in the area they live, this includes local residents and tenants.

"We take all reports of ASB and suspected exploitation seriously – if any behaviour in your community causes you to feel unsafe or concerned, please report it to us.”

Devon and Cornwall Police obtained the order in collaboration with their legal team and the local council’s antisocial behaviour team.

Residents experiencing similar issues or looking to raise their concerns can report them online through the Devon and Cornwall Police website or call 999 in case of an ongoing crime.
