A vigil has been held in memory of a Liskeard man one year after he was stabbed to death outside a Bodmin nightclub.

Friends and family gathered by Eclipse Nightclub in the early hours of this morning, the spot where 32-year-old Michael Riddiough-Allen died on 30 April 2023.

A number of other people were injured in the attack.

A trial this year heard that Mr Riddiough-Allen had been trying to break up a fight before he was stabbed.

Michael's family raised a Rattler in his memory

25-year-old Jake Hill, of Jubilee Terrace, Bodmin, was given a life sentence with a minimum term of 28 years for murder and four counts of wounding with intent.

22-year-old Tia Taylor, of Northey Road, was given three years for manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.

22-year-old Chelsea Powell, of Granny's Green, was sentenced to 15 months for perverting the course of justice - she will have to serve half before being released on licence.
