This is the moment a van got stuck in the sea at Newquay harbour.

Onlookers watched as the vehicle was completely submerged by the tide on Sunday (August 22nd).

According to Radio Newquay, eyewitnesses saw it being used to launch a boat earlier in the day.

The occupants reportedly ignored warnings several warnings not to park there.

Paddlefish Adventure shared the above photos on social media, joking: "Van stuck in Newquay harbour.

"If you haven't got a amphibious vehicle...

"Why don't you let us take you out in our boat;

"Fishing Trips & Coastal Cruises".

They added: "Hope they get it sorted".

The transit was still stuck on Sunday evening and it is not clear whether or not it has been recovered.
