Devon & Cornwall Police said: "47-year-old Simon Tailby (AKA Molyneux), who was wanted by police, has been located.
"Officers would like to thank members of the public for their help in this matter".
Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a man who is wanted on recall to prison.
47-year-old Simon Tailby, also known as Simon Molyneux, has links to Cornwall.
He also has links in the Greater Manchester and Derbyshire areas.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 999 straight away.
"Police are appealing for information to locate Simon Tailby, also known as Simon Molyneux, who is wanted for re-call to prison.
"The 47-year-old has links to Cornwall, Greater Manchester and Derbyshire."
