Urgent appeal to find pensioner missing from near Penzance for several days

75-year-old Barry Taylor has not been seen since Friday 10th September

Fears are growing for the safety of a missing Cornish pensioner who has not been seen since before the weekend.

Barry Taylor was reported missing from his home in Kerris near Penzance on Saturday (11th September), but has not been seen since Friday afternoon.

The 75-year-old is described as a white male, slim build, 5'5, brown/grey receding hair.

Devon and Cornwall Police say he is likely to be wearing a red coat, blue Jeans and walking boots.

Anyone who sees Mr Taylor is being urged to contact the force, quoting log 391 of Saturday's date.

Police issued the following statement over the weekend: "Police are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Barry Taylor, a 75-year-old man from the Penzance/Kerris area.

"He is described as a white male, slim build, 5'5, brown/grey receding hair likely to be wearing red jacket/coat, blue Jeans and walking boots.

"He was reported missing to police on the 11/09/2021 from his home address in Kerris but was last seen on the 10/09/2021 at approximately 1530hrs.

"Any sightings of Mr Taylor should be reported to police quoting Incident log 391 11/09/2021, calling police on 101 or 999 if in an emergency".

On Monday (13th September), Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed Mr Taylor is still missing and repeated their appeal for witnesses.
